A draft EA for the purchase of 3,976 acres and leases of 690 acres of important habitat along the Yellowstone River, 2.5 miles west of Pompey's Pillar National Monument. This purchase will protect and enhance riparian habitats, sagebrush grasslands and ponderosa pine savannahs, and provide public recreational access to 9,426 acres of contiguous habitat.
