Bannack State Park Store

When gold was discovered on Grasshopper Creek in 1862, a population boom began that gave birth to the town of Bannack, later to become the first Montana. Today Bannack is a ghost town and a National Historic Landmark. Over 50 buildings still stand along the boardwalks of Main Street, many of which you can go inside and explore. The small visitor center features a gift shop that offers books, DVDs, postcards and other items for sale.
