The competent and friendly Montana State Parks staff takes pride in caring for some of the Treasure State’s finest cultural and natural resources. They work hard to ensure cleanliness, safety, and a pleasant visitor experience in State Parks and Fishing Access Sites. In some cases, standards have been developed to guide a consistent approach to maintenance and safety. For example, the Fishing Access Sites Maintenance Standards describe appropriate expectations for general site conditions, including signs, roads, fences, gates, vegetation, latrines, and other facilities.
