Rental Accommodations

Montana's State Parks offer fall camping experiences of all kinds from the most rustic to more upscale.

Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park may be the most upscale camping facility among the 50 State Parks. Located about 20 miles west of Three Forks on the Jefferson River, this spacious campground includes log cabin rentals and warm water showers. The cabins are equipped with one double bed, one bunk bed, table and chairs, electrical outlets and electrical baseboard heat. Cooking grills are located outside each cabin and flush toilets and shower facilities are a short walk away.

Adventuresome camping can be found on the shores of Flathead Lake in a Yurt, or a Tipi at Beavertail Hill and Bannack State Parks.

Or bring your own field-tested tent and recreate the comforts of home. In total, 24 state parks offer overnight camping facilities. The general camping fee is $12-$15 per night.
