Floating docks have been pulled from the water to prevent damage from ice. Typically, they are back in the water around mid-March. Roads at West Shore, Wayfarers and Lake Mary Ronan State Parks and Somers and Echo Lake FASs are regularly plowed to the boat ramps in the winter.

With current and forecasted highwater conditions in the Bighorn River and the growing potential for road erosion and safety concerns, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks is closing the main access road to Grant Marsh Fishing Access Site boat ramp effective 7 am on 4/10/17.

Trail Closure: Construction to improve the Cave Visitor Center parking lot, beginning April 5, 2017, makes it necessary to close nearby portions of Cave Gulch and East Side trails. The project is expected to be finished by the beginning of May.
