Montana's Fish & Wildlife Commission is seeking comment on a temporary closure of a section of the Clark Fork River. The rules address public safety concerns during construction or to allow vegetation to reestablish where work is planned this year. Upon approval by the Fish & Wildlife Commission and local authorities, the temporary closure rule would be in effect in the following area: Sections of the Clark Fork River and a portion of the Warm Springs Wildlife Management Area near Warm Springs at the request of the Montana Department of Environmental Quality during various phases of the Clark Fork Superfund cleanup and restoration project, ongoing through 2016. Comments are due by April 18, 2014
