Species Removal & Relocation

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP) is proposing to remove a small population of invasive goldfish using the EPA registered pesticide Prenfish which is safe to use for removal of unwanted fish, when handled properly. Invasive goldfish are proposed to be removed from an unnamed stock pond located in Upper CK Creek approximately one mile from Zortman, MT (T25N, R25E S21). The remote, 0.65 acre pond is located on private land. If the preferred alternative is selected, the project would be completed in the fall 2020.
