Hellgate Hunters and Anglers Shooting Range Grant FY20

Montana Fish Wildlife & Parks (FWP) has released a draft environmental assessment (EA) for a Shooting Range Development Grant proposal from the Hellgate Hunters and Anglers club. FWP would provide up to $12,350 in funding for projects deemed eligible for Hellgate Hunters and Anglers proposes to improve the safety of the Hellgate Archery Range by building a shooting line roof/safety canopy and installing baffles to stop overshot arrows. The Hellgate Hunters and Anglers (HHA) Hellgate Archery range is located on Spurgin Park within Big Sky Park adjacent to the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks (FWP) office in Missoula, Montana on Tower Street, Lat. 46.8582, Long. -114.0618, SE1/4 Section 25, Township 13 North, Range 20 West. Yaak Rod and Gun Club Shooting Range Grant

Montana Fish Wildlife & Parks (FWP) has released a draft environmental assessment (EA) for a Shooting Range Development Grant proposal from the Yaak Rod and Gun Club (YRGC). FWP would provide up to $24,680 in funding for projects deemed eligible for Yaak Rod and Gun Club (YRGC) proposed improvements to construct a 30’ X 40’ addition to the clubhouse.

Thompson Falls Trap Club Shooting Range Grant

Montana Fish Wildlife & Parks (FWP) has released a draft environmental assessment (EA) for a Shooting Range Development Grant proposal from the Thompson Falls Trap Club. FWP would provide up to $4,121 in funding for projects deemed eligible for Thompson Falls Trap Club’s proposed improvements of retro fitting the target landing area and upgrading the voice release systems at the Thompson Falls Trap Club Range.

Fort Belknap Community Shooting Range Grant

Montana Fish Wildlife & Parks (FWP) has released a draft environmental assessment (EA) for a Shooting Range Development Grant proposal from the Fort Belknap Community. FWP would provide up to $90,000 in funding for projects deemed eligible for Fort Belknap Community to develop the Ohuuh’ niikébináac/O’a’utabi (Fort Belknap Community) Shooting Range. The proposed project includes constructing a 350’X 25’X 10’ berm (backstop), installing perimeter fencing around the entire range, constructing an access road and entrance, and installing shooting benches.

Bigfork Gun Club Shooting Range Grant

Montana Fish Wildlife & Parks (FWP) has released a draft environmental assessment (EA) for a Shooting Range Development Grant proposal from the Bigfork Gun Club. FWP would provide up to $33,022 in funding for projects deemed eligible for Bigfork Gun Club’s proposed improvements of constructing a 200 and 300-yard rifle ranges with 20 shooting positions on 6.5 acres recently purchased adjacent to the existing facilities.
