An EA originally was prepared for this project in 2005 when it called for returning the channelized stream to its historic location to the south of an existing ranch road, which acts as a floodplain berm. A design change recently was made calling for the new channel to be constructed to the north of both the ranch road and the existing channelized reach of stream. This EA addresses the proposed changes in design.
