Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks (MFWP) propose to lease approximately 125 acres of the 1,169 acre Isaac Homestead Wildlife Management Area (WMA) for agricultural production to increase wildlife cover and forage. Isaac Homestead WMA is located west of the town of Hysham along the Yellowstone River in Treasure County. The proposed agricultural lease on the Isaac Homestead WMA will be used to improve vegetative diversity and provide forage for pheasant, wild turkey, and white tailed deer that utilize the WMA.
