The Montana State Legislature has authorized the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP) Commission to auction one male Shiras Moose license, one male Mountain Bighorn Sheep license, and one either-sex Mountain Goat license each year to provide funding for the substantial benefit of Montana’s Shiras Moose, Mountain Bighorn Sheep, and Mountain Goat, respectively.
