Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP) has issued a Decision Notice (DN) to conduct a bank stabilization project along a portion of Fish Creek at Big Pine FAS. The stabilization project will involve the construction of a native green and aged woody debris logjam in order to reestablish and protect the highly erodible soils that surround the base of the “Big Pine.” The Big Pine is the largest known ponderosa pine in Montana.
