This amendment to the Decision Notice dated June 21, 2006 authorizes the trapping of white-tailed prairie dogs prior to July 1st and makes this early translocation date effective immediately and for the duration of the project (Fall 2011).

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP), Region One, has written a draft environmental assessment (EA) for the purpose of a fuels reduction project on two parcels of department land on McGregor Lake in Flathead County. The Commission amended ARM 12.11.3205 to create a no wake zone at White Sandy Recreation Area on Hauser Lake. The new no wake zone is in effect June 8, 2007

The FWP Commission is considering new rules, rule amendments, and the transfer of a rule pertaining to game bird farms, possession of captive-reared game birds, and field trial permits. A public hearing on the rule changes will be held June 28, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. at the Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks, 1420 East 6th Ave., Helena, Montana.
