Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP), Region One, has completed an environmental assessment (EA) for the Lincoln County Sno-Kats for the purpose of grooming previously approved trails on the Kootenai National Forest in Lincoln County.
Following a thirty-day public review and consideration of four comments received, Alternative A, to retain the existing trail system, was found to be the preferred alternative, with the additional mitigations as detailed in the attached decision notice. There were no changes to the draft EA; therefore, the draft becomes the final EA.

On July 6, 2007, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP) published an Environmental Assessment (EA) for public review regarding the proposed lease of 22-acres of DNRC and located on the Missouri River at Little Muddy Creek, for development as a Fishing Access Site(FAS). This EA was developed in response to DNRC publishing a Checklist Environmental Assessment dated August 6, 2006 that selected Alternative B, which allowed a lease to be issued to FWP for a public fishing access site. FWP proposed a 10-year lease on the property from DNRC using the FWP Fishing
Access Acquisition account. This property has been previously leased as a home site since 1974. (Decision Notices - 09/18/2007)
The commission has has amended ARM 12.9.1105 as proposed. Evaluation of harvest may include, but is not limited to, field observations, check stations, weather conditions, or public comments.
