Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP), Region One, has completed an environmental assessment (EA) for Lone Pine State Park in Flathead County. The project proposes upgrading the existing gravel parking lot and access road located on Valley View Drive by paving them and slightly enlarging the parking area at the same time. During a 30-day public review of the draft EA, one party submitted written comments. Based on analysis in the EA and consideration of comments received, Alternative B was found to be the preferred alternative, with alterations as set forth in the decision document. There were no changes to the draft EA; therefore, the draft becomes the final EA.
