Some archery only antelope hunters were afield by Aug. 14. These hunters hold a 900 series license to archery hunt antelope Aug. 14—Nov. 6 in any hunting district starting with 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7.

The 900 series license is a multi-region archery only, either sex antelope license available on an unlimited basis to those who applied for them or purchased them over the counter before June 1.

Archers who secured this license can only hunt antelope with archery equipment for the entire fall hunting season.

During the general antelope archery only season, Sept. 3-Oct. 8, archery hunters may pursue antelope with region-specific antelope licenses issued through the antelope drawing.

The general antelope season is Oct. 9-Nov. 6 and a hunter needs a region-specific antelope license issued through the antelope drawing to hunt antelope with a rifle during this season.

The 2005 deer, elk and antelope regulations are available at FWP regional offices, from FWP license providers and on the FWP web site under Hunting, Regulations and in the Interactive Hunt Planner.
