MILES CITY, Mont. – In early July, a thunderstorm and high winds uprooted cottonwood trees did significant damage to camp sites at Twelve Mile Fishing Access Site south of Miles City. Recently, crews from Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, Montana Department of Natural Resources and the Bureau of Land Management worked together to clean up the huge amount of debris.
Area residents are welcome to the firewood that has been cut and stacked. Please do not cut down any additional trees and take enough only for personal use.
