Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks is seeking public comment on nine Montana Off Highway Vehicle Program grant applications.
The grant program funds are appropriated by the Montana Legislature for OHV law enforcement, and a Safety and Ethics Education Program. The funding is derived from one eighth of one percent of the distributor’s gasoline license tax, OHV registration-decal fees, dealer registrations, and nonresident-permit fees.
Public comments may be made through Oct. 2 by email to: email@example.com or by mail to: Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks, State Trails Grant Program, 1420 East Sixth Ave., P.O. Box 200701, Helena, MT 59620-0701.
To review a list of the applications for off-highway vehicle program grants, go to the FWP web site at fwp.mt.gov and go to the Recreation Page under Grants. Grant applications are available for review in the FWP regional office closest to the project site and at FWP Headquarters in Helena.
