Montana State Parks is excited to announce that the new online store features the brand-new guidebook titled: “Complete Guide & Travel Companion: Montana State Parks”. It is on sale now for a special inaugural price of $17.95. A portion of the proceeds from the guidebook benefit Montana State Parks through Montana’s Outdoor Legacy Foundation ( mtoutdoorlegacy.org) .
The Montana State Parks’ new guidebook is written by Erin Madison and Kristen Inbody, reporters for the Great Falls Tribune. They visited all 55 state parks in 11 months and wrote feature stories in the Tribune about each park. The new guidebook features an introduction by Montana Governor Steve Bullock and a guest commentary about the Smith River State Park by award-winning author Maile Meloy. It has been published by Riverbend publishing ( http://riverbendpublishing.com/) in partnership with the Great Falls Tribune (http://www.greatfallstribune.com/) and high pre-sales alone have put it already into a second printing.
