First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park - Moves to Winter Hours on Tuesday, October 1

(Ulm, MT) – Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) announced today:

What: First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park will switch to winter hours October 1. From October 1 through March 31, the park will be open 10am to 4 pm, Wednesday through Saturday, and noon to 4 p.m., Sunday.
The top of the buffalo jump is closed during deep snow events.

The park is 3.5 miles north of Ulm, just off of Interstate 15 at Exit 270.

First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park is one of the largest buffalo jumps in North America. The visitor center and interpretive trails tell the story of the people, the animals and the landscape of the buffalo culture. In 2012 more than 15,000 people visited this state park.
