Montana State Parks News - Region 1

(Kalispell, MT) – Montana State Parks ( announced today that Lone Pine State Park will have temporary access restrictions for the public due to maintenance updates and improvements from Monday, August 5 through Thursday, August 8.

August 5, 6, 7: The Main Entrance to the park (on 300 Lone Pine Road) and the Visitor Center will be temporarily closed to the public for maintenance updates and improvements.

The public can still visit the state park through the Lone Pine Trailhead walk-in entrance and the Valley View Trailhead parking lot, both located off of Valley View Drive. The main entrance and Visitor Center will re-open on Thursday, August 8.

August 8: The Valley View Trailhead parking lot of Lone Pine State Park will be closed all day on Thursday, August 8 for maintenance updates and improvements.

Visitors can still access the park through the Lone Pine Trailhead walk-in access and the main park entrance (300 Lone Pine Road).
