Earth Day Art Contest: Design Our New Youth T-Shirt

(Kalispell) –There’s only two days left to submit your art for the Lone Pine State Park Children’s T-Shirt Art Contest! The contest is open to children 4th grade and younger. All entries are due Saturday, April 20 at 5 pm. The winner will have their art printed on our new Lone Pine children’s t-shirt and receive a gift certificate to the Lone Pine gift shop. For more information on this T-shirt Art Contest contact the Lone Pine Visitor Center at 755-2706.

Lone Pine State Park is located 5 miles southwest of Kalispell and offers one of the most vivid views of the valley, 7.5 miles of trails, and a beautiful interpretive center that provides information on living in a wildlife urban interface. Additional amenities include a picnic shelter and a community room, which are both available to rent, as well as a volleyball court, horseshoe pit, and an archery range. Furthermore, Lone Pine offers a fantastic variety of educational and interpretive programs.
