State Parks News - Region 1
Come join the monstrous celebration of the wonderful world of bats at Lone Pine State Park on October 27. Bat crafts and games will take place from 1:00pm until 1:40pm followed by a kid’s costume contest at 1:45pm. The contest will show off those dressed as bats and other creatures of the night, so be prepared to show off your zaniest attire to classic monster mash tunes! There will be prizes for those in costume. At 2:00 pm biologist Angela Daenzer will give an interactive presentation on the intriguing nature of bats and the value of their existence. Bring your family and friends; we hope to see you there.
