Pacific Flyway Duck, Goose Seasons to Close Then Reopen

Hunting - Region 4

Monday, January 04, 2016

Montana’s duck and goose seasons in the Pacific Flyway will close Jan. 10, then reopen for five days, Jan. 16-20.

Montana’s portion of the Pacific Flyway is west of a line that includes Hill, Chouteau, Cascade, Meagher and Park counties.

East of those counties is the Central Flyway, which has different closing dates, depending on the county and species of waterfowl hunted.

For complete rules, regulations and exceptions refer to the 2015 Montana migratory bird regulations.
