Fall Turkey Applications Due July 31

Permit application for hunters planning to pursue wild turkeys in parts of Montana this fall are due July 31.

All turkey permit applicants must have a 2014 Conservation License and they must pay a $5 nonrefundable application fee.

Prospective fall turkey hunters can apply online, at FWP regional offices, or by mail using an official application.

Online applications are available at fwp.mt.gov under "Buy a License" and must be submitted by 11:30 p.m. on July 31.

Those who prefer to apply by mail can go to the FWP website on the Hunting page and click Licenses and Permits for a mail-in paper form. Mail-in applications must be received by 5 p.m. on July 31. Mail-in applications must be sent to: Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks; License Section; P.O. Box 8009; Helena MT 59620-8009.
