Montana's upland game bird citizens advisory council will meet in Conrad March 24-25 to tour nearby game bird habitat projects, host an open house and work on a plan to help guide the state's upland game bird enhancement program.

The council will tour habitat projects March 24 and host an open house for landowners, hunters, and others interested in upland game birds that evening at the Pondera Shooting Sports Club building, 972 Granite Road, from 7-9 p.m.

The March 25 work session will also be held at the Pondera Shooting Sports Club.

The 12-member Upland Game Bird Enhancement Program Council is advising Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks on a 10-year strategic plan for upland game birds, including identification of potential new administrative rules and steps to effectively implement the program.
