The Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Hunter Education Program and its volunteer instructors remind all hunters of the three basic rules of gun safety:

1) Always point any shooting device in a safe direction

2) Be sure of your target and what is beyond and

3) Treat every gun as if it were loaded

Hunting is a very safe activity. It is up to each hunter to make responsible decisions to keep it that way.
