Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is proposing to install electrical hook-ups for recreational vehicles in a portion of the Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park campground.
An Environmental Assessment (EA) has been prepared and is now available for public review and comment. FWP proposes to install nine campsite electrical pedestals within campground loop “E” at the popular state park. The proposed project will also require electrical infrastructure improvements, including an electrical panel, to support the new pedestals.
The draft EA is available in Helena at FWP’s Headquarters, the Montana State Library, and the Environmental Quality Council. It also may be obtained from the FWP office in Bozeman (1400 S. 19th Ave.) or viewed on FWP’s website at fwp.mt.gov under recent public notices.
