Registration is open for a Bowhunter Education class for youngsters 11-17 years of age. The class will be taught at the Flathead Valley Clay Target Club north of Kalispell. To register, stop by Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks headquarters on North Meridian Road in Kalispell. Registration is limited to 40 students. Registrants will receive course materials and a complete schedule for the course. The course is taught on Tuesday, April 10 and Friday April 13 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on Saturday April 14, from 9 a.m. to noon. The course is free of charge. Students must still pass the standard Hunter Education course and be 12 years of age before they can purchase an archery hunting license. For more information, call FWP at 752-5501.
