

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks’ Region 3 Citizens’ Advisory Committee will meet in Ennis on Wednesday, August 9. The meeting will be held at the El Western Motel conference facilities from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
The main topic on the agenda is hunting access. Region 3 Wildlife Manager Kurt Alt will lead the discussion, which will include an overview of hunting access and various public and private lands access programs such as Block Management and Access Montana.
The committee is comprised of sixteen citizen advisors with a variety of interests and backgrounds from communities across southwest Montana including Ennis, Dillon, Bozeman, Butte, Gardiner, Emigrant, Helena, Cameron, and Divide.
The CAC meets approximately four times per year to provide input and guidance on the many natural resource and management issues addressed by FWP in southwest Montana. All meetings are open to the public.
