Deer Game Damage Hunt Set for Teton County

A deer game damage hunt will take place near Choteau in Teton County. From Jan. 8 through Feb. 15, hunters will be able to take antlerless mule deer and white-tailed deer in a portion of hunting districts 404 and 450.Any unused 2005 Montana deer license will be valid for the hunt. In addition, hunters may buy up to 5 antlerless deer B licenses at any license agent, beginning Jan. 4. The damage hunt area is entirely private property and hunters will need permission of property owners. The area also includes the former Teton Spring Creek Preserve, where special regulations and weapons restrictions may apply.
