Montana’s Fish, Wildlife & Parks Commission will meet Thursday, Nov. 13, at the FWP Headquarters building on 1420 East Sixth Ave., beginning at 9 a.m.

The Commission will take final action on the 2004 proposed annual rule for the sale of Montana nonresident combination licenses; on changes that would reformat and correct errors in some recreational water use rules; on a conservation easement in Great Falls near Sacagawea Springs; on a land acquisition near Travelers’ Rest State Park to preserve about 11.5 acres with historical and archaeological significance; and on proposed deer and elk license auction rules.

The Commission will consider requests for rule making on two petitions for motorboat rule changes on Echo Lake and Yellow Bay on Flathead Lake and will hear an informational presentation on the Montana Sage Grouse Plan.

A Commission work session, beginning at 1 p.m., will cover lands issues, the acquisition of a fishing access site on the Lower Blackfoot River .5 miles from Bonner and a review of FWP’s public involvement processes.
