Montana’s Fish, Wildlife & Parks Commission will meet Thursday, July 10, at the FWP Headquarters building on 1420 East Sixth Ave., beginning at 8 a.m. A work session will follow the regular meeting, beginning at 1 p.m., at Jorgensons Inn, 1720 11th Ave.
The Commission will take final action on the fee for the 2004 variable-priced outfitter-sponsored license; a land exchange at the Emigrant West fishing access site, south of Livingston, that would improve access to the Yellowstone River; and on an easement on FWP land near Charlo that would enable landowner access to private property.
Tentative decisions will be made on the 2004-2007 fishing regulations and on amending the boundaries and setting the seasons within the Teton-Spring Creek Bird Preserve near Choteau.
During the afternoon work session, where no official action will be taken, the Commission will hear presentations on the River Recreation Advisory Council’s progress; water rights; the Canyon Ferry walleye limit and the wolf plan.
