FWP Commission To Meet September 4 In Helena

The Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Commission will meet Thursday, September 4, at the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Headquarters, 1420 East Sixth Avenue in Helena.

Heading the agenda for the meeting, which is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m., will be final approval of the Future Fisheries Review Panel Project funding recommendations.

Among other business at the meeting, the Commission will review and adopt tentative 1998-99 fishing regulations, and adopt final 1997-98 waterfowl seasons and closures. The selection of the organization to auction the 1998 moose and bighorn sheep hunting licenses will be finalized and there will be a discussion of 1998-99 statewide hunting season issues.
