Antlerless Whitetail Deer Season Underway

A special antlerless white-tailed deer season is now underway in a portion of eastern Montana Hunting District 703.

This special damage reduction season, which started on December 28 and will extend through January 19, 1997, is open to all hunters holding unused 1996 Deer A licenses and antlerless over-the-counter whitetail Deer B licenses valid for Region 7 during the 1996 season as well as to those who purchase one of 600 white-tailed deer damage licenses available from FWP's Miles City (Region 7) office and several license agents in Region 7. These license agents are in the following towns: Glendive, Lambert, Richey, Fairview, Sidney, Savage, Terry, Wibaux and Circle.

Hunting maps and guidelines are available at the license agents listed above as well as from FWP's Miles City office.
