Boat Ramp at Logan State Park to Temporarily Close

Fishing - Region 1

Monday, March 09, 2020

Kalispell, MT — Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is expanding the boat ramp at Logan State Park and the ramp will be closed for 45 days during development.

The new ramp will be 40-feet wide and 35-feet long. The project is scheduled to begin April 1 and be completed by May 15. During that time, the ramp will not be available for launching boats. An alternative launch site is located about a half-mile east of the state park at the Thompson Chain of Lakes State Recreation Area. This is a primitive launch and does not have a concrete ramp or courtesy dock for launching.

Logan State Park is located on the north shore of Middle Thompson Lake off U.S. Highway 2 between Libby and Kalispell.
