Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks seeks public comment on a proposal to stock fish in two Petroleum County reservoirs.

The reservoirs – Woods Place and Stormwind – are on public lands and have not been stocked previously. The proposals are in two draft Environmental Assessments: Woods Place Reservoir – Environmental Review of Fish Introduction, and Stormwind Reservoir – Environmental Review of Fish Introduction.

The draft EAs summarize the proposed action and analyze the potential risks associated. The draft EAs are open for public comment until Feb. 3, 2019. Copies are available at the Lewistown Area Resource Office, located at 333 Airport Road and on the FWP website: http://fwp.mt.gov/news/publicNotices/environmentalAssessments/speciesStocking/
