ALERT: ANGLING RESTRICTIONS LIFTED ON SECTION I OF THE BIG HOLE

(BOZEMAN, Mont.)—Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is alerting the public that angling restrictions on the Upper Big Hole River have been lifted given improved conditions.

Section I of the Big Hole from Saginaw Bridge on Skinner Meadows Road to the mouth of the North Fork Big Hole River is now open to fishing.

Section V of the Big Hole from Notch Bottom Fishing Access Site to the confluence with the Beaverhead River is still under closure as it has not hit the criteria yet for reopening. That will likely happen soon.
