Island Lake Fishing Access Site Proposed Development Draft EA

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP), Region One, is seeking public comment for the Island Lake Fishing Access Site Proposed Development Draft Environmental Assessment (Lincoln County, T29N, R26W, NW¼ S31). FWP proposes todevelop the site, including a developed access road, a designated parking area, a single-wide concrete boat ramp, three or four designated campsites, a concrete vault latrine, informational and directional signs, fire rings, and fencing.

 

Thedraftis out for a 30-day public review through May 11, 2014. Copies of the draft are available at the FWP office, 490 N. Meridian Rd., Kalispell; Montana State Library, 1515 E 6th Ave., Helena; FWP State Headquarters, 1420 E 6th Ave., Helena; the FWP website at fwp.mt.gov under Public Notices; and available for viewing at local libraries.
