The biennial FWP Angler Survey will continue to survey resident and nonresident anglers through March 2012. This survey is important in measuring the popularity of fishing on the states’ lakes and streams.
"The Angler Pressure Survey is in the mail and we're asking anglers to please watch for it and complete it," said Bruce Rich, fisheries bureau chief. "Anglers' information is vital to fisheries management in the state."
FWP is asking anglers to be sure to return the survey even if they did not fish as all responses are important to accurate measurements of fishing pressure. To review the results of past Angler Pressure Surveys to the Fisheries Management page under the Fishing tab on FWP's website at fwp.mt.gov.
