The workgroup aiming to develop fish-management plan recommendations for three popular Upper Missouri River reservoirs is set to meet Monday, May 4, in Helena.
The group, whose members represent an array of interests, is leading the effort to identify, define, and recommend fish management and regulation approaches on Canyon Ferry, Hauser and Holter reservoirs and on the Missouri River below Hauser Dam. An existing plan has guided the reservoirs' fisheries management since 2000.
The meeting will begin at 8 a.m. at the Montana Association of Counties; 2715 Skyway Dr. Public comment opportunities are provided over the noon hour. For additional information, visit FWP’s Web site at fwp.mt.gov. Click "Upper Missouri River Management Plan."
