Montanans interested in helping to identify issues associated with wolf management may attend one of four remaining community work sessions or comment online. Wolf management information and comment areas can be found at FWP’s Wolf Management link under Hot Topics on our home page.

Community work sessions will continue through April 1. The sessions will be held from 6:30-9 p.m. and are set for:

March 26

Flathead ValleyCommunity College, Eagle's Nest Cafeteria, 777 Grandview Dr.

March 27

Red Lion Inn, 2100 Cornell Ave

March 28

Ennis High School Library

April 1

Colonial Hotel Best Western, 2301 Colonial Dr.

The effort is part of a year-long process to prepare an environmental impact statement whose proposed action is to develop and adopt a state wolf management plan to use when the wolf is delisted by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Details are available on FWP’s Wolf Management link online.

Comments will be accepted through April 30. Write to: Wolf Issues, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks, 490 North Meridian; Kalispell, MT 59901; or call 406-751-4586.
