Spring Break Programs At Montana Wild - March 28-30

Are you looking for something WILD for the kids to do during Spring Break?

FWP’s Montana WILD in Helena is offering a variety of free programs showcasing Montana’s fish and wildlife.  2018 programs include:

  • Kids Fly Tying - March 28 (34 p.m.)

*Pre-registration required* Learn how to make your very own fly to use while fishing.

  • Live Raptor Program - March 29 (23 p.m.)

Volunteers from the FWP’s Rehabilitation Center will showcase live ambassador birds and talk about the adaptations of Montana raptors.

  • Kids Mountain Man Program - March 29 (67 p.m.)

Authentic mountain man Gene Hickman will lead a program featuring animal furs, survival techniques, and Native American sign language.

  • Goyataku:  Make Your Own Fish T-Shirt - March 30 (5:306:30 p.m.)

*Pre-registration required* Bring your own blank T-shirt to Montana WILD where instructors will help you use a replica fish to create a cool piece of fish art that you can wear.

The Montana WILD Education Center is located at 2668 Broadwater Ave in Helena, next to Spring Meadow Lake State Park off Highway 12 West.
