Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks will host its last free one-hour kayaking class for beginners on August 4th at Spring Meadow Lake.
Participants will have an opportunity to try out a variety of stable recreational style kayaks and learn basic paddle strokes. Participants are urged to wear clothes that can get wet and water shoes or sandals.
The classes are open to adults and youth 10 years of age and older when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Classes begin at either 6 p.m. or 7 p.m. and space is limited. Participants must register by calling Montana WILD at 406-444-9944.
Montana WILD is located at 2668 Broadwater Ave., just off U.S. Highway 12 West near Spring Meadow Lake State Park.
