Personal Pontoon Boat Instruction at Montana Wild May 1

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks and Float Smart instructor T. E. Lewis will offer a free program about personal pontoon boats May 1 at Montana Wild.

Lewis will discuss inflatable pontoon boat navigation, equipment and safety. This interactive program is designed for anglers or water recreationists who use one-person pontoon boats or are considering purchasing one. Participants will learn about essential items for emergency repairs, personal protective gear, and what to do when something goes wrong or equipment breaks.

The program begins at 6:30 p.m., May 1 at the Montana Wild Education Center, 2668 Broadwater Ave., next to Spring Meadow Lake State Park off Highway 12 West. Pre-registration is required. To reserve your spot call 406-444-9944.
