Bear and Mountain Lion Awareness at Montana Wild April 24

Get bear and lion aware at on April 24 at Montana Wild and learn how to avoid mountain lion and bear encounters and how to keep pets and livestock safe.

Join Laurie Evarts, Montana Wild's education program manager, who will show participants how to recognize and understand mountain lion and bear behavior, react in an encounter, and use bear spray for both species.

The free class—set for 6:30-8 p.m., April 24—and will include an opportunity to practice using bear spray.
