Visit to the Swiss Alps with two recent travelers from Helena who will share their stories and photos of a120-mile trek across a unique alpine trail dotted with alpine farms, climbers' huts and mountain inns.
The Montana Wild presentation by Bill and Marti Cook is set for Jan. 30 beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The presentation will focus on the Via Alpina Green Trail's world class scenery, unique cultures and top-notch food encountered on the way, as well as how Switzerland's coordinated public transit system makes the Alps a perfect destination for eco-tourism.
Bill Cook is a volunteer at Montana Wild who provides conservation and outdoor recreation programs. Together the Cooks have made numerous hiking trips to Switzerland.
