Learn How to Film Your Own Outdoor Adventure at Montana Wild

Montana WILD will host a free program on how to film your own outdoor adventure, Thursday, July 25 at 6:30 pm at the Montana Wild Education Center, 2668 Broadwater Ave., next to Spring Meadow Lake State Park off Highway 12 West.

Longtime hunting TV producer Conrad Evarts, and acclaimed photographer Kenton Rowe, will show how to document outdoor adventures using a variety of video equipment. Some of the topics they'll cover include:

  • Shooting tape for successful editing.
  • The keys to taping a good sequence.
  • What to look for in "b-roll" and how to manage audio.
  • The technical aspects of shooting video with a DSLR and GoPro.
  • The how and what of the latest in GoPro technology.
  • How to get the most out of your GoPro both creatively and technically.
  • "Runnin' and gunnin'...The Secrets of a One Man Band".
