Fly Fishing In Winter Set For January 31

Getting cabin fever? Don’t let winter keep you indoors. Discover the joys of fly fishing in winter on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013 at Montana Wild, 2668 Broadwater Ave., next to Spring Meadow Lake State Park off Highway 12 West in Helena.

Instructor Jim Stein will cover equipment, clothing, location and the differences between fly fishing in cooler water vs. warmer water. Stein guided and taught at the Orvis Fly Fishing School in Evergreen, Colo. for more than eight years and has been teaching fly fishing classes at Cross Currents Fly Shop in Helena for six years. The one-hour program will begin at 6:30 p.m.
