

A free bird watching program is set for Monday morning, Aug. 13 at Montana Wild, 2668 Broadwater Ave., next to Spring Meadow Lake State Park off Highway 12 West.
Montana Wild staff will lead a guided informational hike around Spring Meadow Lake State Park to help participants learn about the diverse bird species that call the Helena area home. Binoculars, field guides and bird check lists will be supplied.
The one hour program begins at 9 a.m. Space is limited and will fill up quickly. Register by calling Montana Wild at 444-9944.
